First, submission to God. Prophet Abraham is a role model for all believers as he demonstrates the ultimate submission and obedience to God. Since he was a child, he refused to submit to any false deity, like the idols that his father and people used to worship. He immigrated when God commanded him and left his hometown and people. He immigrated to Palestine, Egypt and Makkah. Abraham left his wife Hagar and baby Ishmael in Makkah.
