Josh Hokit brought a very different energy to the latest UFC Freedom 250 press conference.
The 9-0 heavyweight almost came to blows with Ilia Topuria at the UFC White House launch event last month.
On Friday, they came face-to-face for the first time since then at the final UFC Freedom 250 press conference.
Josh Hokit kicked off the press conference by apologizing for his behavior at the last one.
The 29-year-old blamed his ‘Incredible Hok’ persona as he awkwardly addressed Ilia Topuria.
“I just wanna apologize for ruining the press conference last time,” Hokit said.
“I like Topuria too, I like Pereira, those are my favorite fighters.”
“I’m nervous right now. It’s just regular Josh today.”
Hokit proceeded to interject after each media question with some form of compliment for the UFC stars he was sharing the stage with.
“Can you just shut up? Can someone shut this guy up?” Topuria snapped.
Hokit eventually dropped his nice guy act as he made fun of Topuria’s height and his ‘stripper’ ex-wife.
“I think Topuria’s so mad, he’s so short he can’t see himself in the bathroom mirror. And he married a stripper from Miami,” he said.
Thankfully, both men remained seated, and things didn’t get out of hand like they did last time.

Fans feared UFC Freedom 250 could be canceled after ‘inclement weather’ delayed Friday’s press conference
“Due to inclement weather, #UFCWhiteHouse Press Conference has moved to 9:00pm ET,” the UFC said in a social media statement.
“We advise all attendees to arrive no earlier than 8:30pm ET. Please check weather conditions before traveling.”
The fighters began making their way to the stage at 9:20pm (ET), 65 minutes after the press event was originally set to start.
Everyone involved will be hoping this is the last time UFC Freedom 250 is delayed by bad weather.
