River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHERE…Missouri River near Chamois.

* WHEN…From this evening to Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Flood Stage: Lower lying bottom land begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – There is no current observed data. – Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning and continue falling to 15.9 feet Wednesday evening. – Flood stage is 17.0 feet. Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
